Xiaomi has unveiled the new Redmi A1+ entry-level smartphone in India on October 14th, 2022. The phone has quiet similar specifications to the recently released Redmi A1.


Redmi A1+ features and specs


Like the Redmi A1, the Redmi A1+ has a square-shaped camera bump and a slick leather textured appearance. The phone's standout feature is a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. The colours are Black, Light Green, and Light Blue.

A 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a 120Hz touch sampling rate is present up front. It is also 400 nits bright. It has a MediaTek Helio A22 CPU, 2GB and 3GB RAM variant, and up to 32GB of storage.

There are dual 8MP rear cameras and a 5MP selfie camera on the device. Some features of  Xiaomi Redmi A1+ including time-lapse, the Kaleidoscope effect, short videos, and more. The Redmi A1+ has a 5,000mAh battery and can go for up to two days between charges according to company's claim. A 10W in-box charger is supported. It also runs a clean version of Android 12 like the Redmi A1 and 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, single speaker, bluetooth 5.0, wifi 802.11 b/g/n, and many more.
